“Hot as Cole: Celebrating Yale in Musical Theatre” at Joe’s Pub

Adam performs the comedy song “King For A While,” from the spec musical KERMIT: PRINCE OF DENMARK, penned by Tony Award-winning AVENUE Q writers Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx. This one-night-only concert event brings together the many generations of Yalies currently shaping the Music Theatre industry, in celebration of Broadway’s past and future from Cole Porter forward.

The cast of performers includes current students as well as guest alums, such as Richard Maltby & David Shire, Malcolm Gets, and many others, singing pieces written by the illustrious Yalies who have contributed to the American Musical Theatre canon.

Adam joins an incredible cast for a reading of BERNICE BOBS HER HAIR, a new musical by Adam Gwon (music) and Julia Jordan (book and lyrics), adapted from the short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Directed by Joe Calarco, the reading also features Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young (JERSEY BOYS), Kate Wetherhead (LEGALLY BLONDE, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE), Jared Gertner, and others.
